Deborah S. Gershon has substantial experience representing financial institutions in large exposure operations and credit litigation in trial courts and courts of appeal.
More specifically, she has more than 20 years of experience in litigation involving mortgage banking, commercial lending, unfair competition, real estate and title issues, employment and bank operations. Among other achievements, she has successfully defended several cases of first impression in the California Court of Appeal. In addition, Deborah managed a nationwide defense litigation portfolio consisting of individual and class actions related to the residential real estate lending, loan servicing, capital markets, commercial lending, and retail bank operations.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and her law degree from University of Southern California School of Law, where she was a member of the Southern California Law Review. She is a member of the national Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Bankers Association, and RMA International.
Deborah is admitted to practice law in California and Texas, and in the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California.
