Webinar to Analyze CFPB’s Supervisory Highlights Report

May 23, 2014 — Donald Maurice will give a webinar on June 5, which will analyze the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s May 22 Supervisory Highlights Report. The report summarizes the CFPB’s first two years of supervision of nonbank entities, particularly debt buyers and debt collectors and reveals new areas of concern to the bureau. The webinar will provide an in-depth examination of the topics covered by the report and offer suggestions on other issues that may now be a focus of the bureau’s concern. Webinar to Discuss How to Use Ethics to Drive Compliance Management

May 16, 2014 — Donald Maurice will give a webinar for DBA International on May 21 in which he will discuss “Ethics as the Cornerstone of a Compliance Management System.” The webinar will provide two DBA certification credits. The webinar will examine the impact ethical behavior has on commercial activities and how it often determines whether institutions can succeed when faced with adversity.
