Maurice to Speak on Ethics, Litigation Risks at DBA Executive Summit

June 12, 2014 — Donald Maurice will give several talks at the DBA International 2014 Executive Summit in Dana Point, Calif. this month.

On June 24, he will discuss ethics and the critical role it plays in a successful compliance management system. On June 26, he will join a panel in discussing the top litigation risks for debt buyers and how to avoid them.

Maurice to Discuss TCPA During ABA Call-In Program

June 6, 2014 — Donald Maurice will discuss the Telephone Consumer Protection Act on June 11, during the monthly call-in program of the ABA’s Housing Finance Subcommittee of the Consumer Financial Services Committee. Maurice will review the latest litigation and regulatory developments impacting debt collectors and mortgage servicers under the TCPA and will discuss such topics as consent, telephony technology and class certification.
