Panel to Give State Perspectives on Residential Mortgage Industry

March 20, 2015 — Donald Maurice will moderate a panel discussion with Joseph Borg, director of the Alabama Securities Commission, at the ACI Residential Mortgage Litigation & Regulatory Enforcement conference on April 30, in Washington.

The panel comprises state attorneys general and other state government officials from around the country who will give their perspectives on recent developments in the residential mortgage industry as well as on collaboration with federal agencies on regulatory and enforcement initiatives.

The event is geared toward in-house and outside counsel and will be held April 30 through May 1 at the Washington Plaza Hotel. The conference brochure is available here.

Maurice Quoted in About NY Rules Symposium

March 6, 2015 — Don Maurice, who participated in DBA International’s recent symposium on New York’s new collection rules and regulations, was quoted in’s coverage of the event. At the meeting held in Manhattan, representatives from the New York State Department of Financial Services, New York State Office of Court Administration and New York City Department of Consumer Affairs explained the new rules and regulations.
