Christopher P. Hahn focuses his practice on consumer financial services law and serves as fractional general counsel to small and mid-sized businesses. He partners with business owners and leadership teams to deliver practical, business-driven legal guidance, offering the experience of in-house counsel in a flexible, cost-efficient model.
Chris represents consumer finance and financial services companies in complex and class action litigation, defending claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Truth in Lending Act, as well as related state law claims.
Chris has also served as General Counsel for established companies and high-growth startups, giving him a strong, firsthand understanding of the legal and operational challenges businesses face. As fractional general counsel, Chris supports day-to-day legal needs across the business, including commercial agreements, regulatory strategy, and risk management. Chris earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. Chris was recognized as a Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers for six consecutive years, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
