Jacob “Jake” VanAusdall is Senior Counsel in the Nashville office of Maurice Wutscher LLP. He practices in the firm’s Consumer Credit Litigation and Commercial Litigation groups predominantly representing financial institutions. Jake also has substantial litigation experience representing clients involved in intellectual property, construction, contract, and business disputes.
Prior to joining our team, Jake worked for a boutique civil litigation firm in the Nashville, Tennessee area where he represented individuals and businesses in a wide variety of litigation and transactional matters. Jake has been recognized as a “Mid-South Super Lawyers – Rising Star” in the area of Business Litigation (2018-2022), and is a former member of the Tennessee John Marshall American Inn of Court.
Jake earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law, and his Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Mississippi. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee and the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Tennessee.
He is a member of the American Bankers Association, ACA International, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Receivables Management Association International (RMAI), and the Nashville Bar Association.
