Oct. 22, 2018 — Several Maurice Wutscher attorneys will moderate panel discussions at the Consumer Financial Services Conference at Texas A&M University School of Law, Nov. 5-6.
Donald Maurice will lead a session on zombie debt and recent academic studies examining collection practices. Ernest Wagner will head a presentation on trying a consumer case. Ralph Wutscher will moderate a panel on the latest developments in mortgage litigation and compliance.
Conference attendees will also hear from other leaders in consumer financial services law on such issues as the TCPA, the BCFP, financial services for cannabis and gaming, the ADA and limited English proficiency, secondary market transactions in loan portfolios, manufactured housing, privacy, fintech, fair lending, auto finance and dealer developments, and ethics.
