April 17, 2024 — Maurice Wutscher partner Donald Maurice on May 1 will chair the Consumer Financial Law Symposium hosted by the New York City Bar Association at its offices in New York.
Maurice Wutscher is sponsoring this CLE event, which will bring together thought leaders from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, and academia to discuss trends and developments in consumer financial services law, including federal UDAAP, New York state laws and regulations impacting debt collection, and litigation and regulatory trends involving consumer lending.
Mr. Maurice also will participate in a panel discussion examining New York debt collection regulations, recent legislation impacting medical debt, and what legislators and regulators have in store for the near term.

Donald Maurice represents the financial services industry, successfully litigating matters in appellate and trial courts throughout the country in individual and class actions and guiding businesses, trade associations and financial services companies nationwide in regulatory and compliance matters including data privacy and ethics.
